Osmonmäki
Osmonmäki is a district in the center of Tampere, Finland. The immediate neighbors of the area are Tammela, Tampere, Tammela, Tampella (district), Tampella, Lappi, Tampere, Lappi and Petsamo, Tampere, Petsamo. There are apartment buildings in the area, but also hundred-year-old wooden buildings. In 2011, the district had 1,613 inhabitants. History Construction of the northern part of Tammela, called Osmonmäki, began in the 1890s as a result of the renovation of Kyttälä. In the second half of the 1910s, a suburb of Lappi was built on the north side of the district, to which people traveled along the Lapintie street. Tampella (district)
Tampella (until 2002 known as Naistenlahti) is a neighbourhood in the northern part of the city center of Tampere, Finland. It consists of the old Tampella factory area, the Armonkallio residential area and the Naistenlahti harbor area. The neighboring parts of the internally heterogeneous district located on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi are Lapinniemi, Lappi, Tampere, Lappi, Osmonmäki, Tammela, Tampere, Tammela, Jussinkylä, Finlayson (district), Finlayson and Särkänniemi (district), Särkänniemi. Petsamo, Tampere
Petsamo is a district of Tampere, Finland. The district is named after Pechengsky, Russia, Pechenga (), which Finland acquired in the Treaty of Tartu (Finland–Russia), Treaty of Tartu. At the same time as Soviet Russia ceded Petsamo to Finland in 1920, some large Tamperean industrial plants began to build a residential area for their working population on the northeast corner of the city. When the area seemed to be far from the center, the informal name of the district was born as a result of the image. Tammela, Tampere
Tammela is a district in Tampere, Finland, located east of the city centre. Tammela was born in the 1870s as a working-class neighbourhood, today it is especially popular among the students of the nearby Tampere University. As of 2014, the population of Tammela was 5,646. Tammela was almost completely destroyed in the 1918 Finnish Civil War Battle of Tampere and also severely damaged in the air raids of World War II. Lappi, Tampere
Lappi is a district in Tampere, Finland, near the Lake Näsijärvi and the Kauppi's park area. About 700 people live there. When talking about Lappi, reference is usually made to the Lapinniemi district. The district is home to the Koukkuniemi's nursing home, which is one of the largest nursing homes in Europe. There are also yacht clubs in the area (e.g. Tampere Yacht Club) and a spa and apartments in an old factory building were completed for the 1990 housing fair. The Lappi district got its name from Lapinniemi, which piers Lake Näsijärvi. The name may refer to early Lappish settlement. Kyttälä
Kyttälä is a district in Tampere, Finland. It was born in the late 1870s as a working-class neighborhood to the eastern outskirts of the town. As Tampere soon expanded, Kyttälä is now a part of the city center between the Tammerkoski river and the railway. Population of Kyttälä is 3,348 (31 December 2014). Aleksanterinkatu (Tampere), Aleksanterinkatu is one of Kyttälä's main streets. The direct connection to the Liisankallio, Liisankallio district and from there to Teiskontie and Sammonkatu streets runs along Itsenäisyydenkatu and connection to the Jussinkylä, Jussinkylä district runs along Tuomiokirkonkatu.
