Oscar Sudi
Oscar Kipchumba Sudi is a Kenyan politician. He is currently a member of the National Assembly for the Kapseret constituency, representing the Jubilee Party. He is part of the ruling party, UDA, and is a friend to the fifth president of Kenya, William Ruto. Education Sudi attended Olympic Primary School . He later joined the matau industry as a tout then driver in the Kesses - Eldoret route. He ran for office of Member of parliament winning in 2012 general elections and in 2017 general elections however in In 2022 a case was filed in court challenging the credibility of his alleged academic level and documents. The Jubilee Party of Kenya was the ruling political party of the Republic of Kenya from 2016 until 13 September 2022. United Democratic Alliance (Kenya)
The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is the current ruling political party in Kenya. Their slogan is "Kazi ni Kazi" (Work is work) and their symbol is a wheelbarrow .The party, initially called the Party of Development and Reforms, officially changed its name to UDA in December 2020. William Kipchirchir Samoei Arap Ruto (born 21 December 1966) is a Kenyan politician who is serving as the fifth and current president of Kenya since 13 September 2022. Prior to becoming president, he served as the 11th deputy president of Kenya from 2013 to 2022. Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta (born 26 October 1961) is a Kenyan politician who served as the fourth president of Kenya from 2013 to 2022. Kenyatta was chosen by Daniel Arap Moi as his preferred successor, but Kenyatta was defeated by opposition leader Mwai Kibaki in the 2002 election and Kibaki replaced Moi as president. 2017 Kenyan General Election
General elections were held in Kenya on 8 August 2017 to elect the President, members of the National Assembly and Senate. They coincided with the 2017 Kenyan local elections which elected Governors and representatives in the devolved governments. The published results showed that incumbent President Uhuru Kenyatta of the Jubilee Party had been re-elected with 54% of the vote. However, his main opponent, Raila Odinga of the Orange Democratic Movement, refused to accept the results and contested them in the Supreme Court. The results of the presidential election were subsequently annulled by the court and fresh presidential elections was ordered to be held within 60 days.
