Oro (wrestler)
Jesús Javier Hernández Silva (December 24, 1971 – October 26, 1993) was a Mexican professional wrestler known under the ring name Oro (''Gold''), a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestling, professional wrestler. Hernández died in 1993 as a direct result of a wrestling match. He was a second-generation wrestler, and several of his brothers and cousins were also wrestlers. His nephew works for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as Oro Jr. as an homage to his uncle. A wrestling mask is a fabric-based mask that some professional wrestlers wear as part of their in-ring persona or gimmick. Professional wrestlers have been using masks as far back as 1915 and they are still widely used today, especially in Mexican professional wrestling. ''Lucha libre'' (, meaning "freestyle wrestling" or literally translated as "free fight") is the term for the style of professional wrestling originating in Mexico. Since its introduction to Mexico in the early 20th century, it has developed into a unique form of the genre, characterized by colorful wrestling mask, masks, rapid sequences of holds and maneuvers, and professional wrestling aerial techniques, "high-flying" aerial techniques, some of which have been adopted by wrestlers in the United States, Japan, and elsewhere. Jesús Reza Rosales (born January 15, 1951) is a Mexican '' Luchador'', or professional wrestler, best known under the ring name Mano Negra. Mano Negra is Spanish for "The Black Hand" and is taken from the Spanish anarchist organisation '' La Mano Negra''. Rosales is a former two time holder of the NWA World Welterweight Championship, two time holder of the NWA World Light Heavyweight Championship, and the Mexican National Light Heavyweight Championship while working for Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (EMLL). Jesús Toral López (January 7, 1969 – January 10, 2023) was a '' luchador'', or professional wrestler, who worked almost exclusively in Mexico. López achieved his most success under the ring name Black Warrior. He was best known for his work for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) between 1995 and 2013, as well for his work in some independent promotions, highlighting his time at the Arena Mamá Lucha-S. Being a coach of this sport, he served as a teacher in the Arena Mamá Lucha-S promotion. Mil Máscaras (born Aarón RodrÃguez Arellano, July 15, 1942) is a Mexican Lucha libre, luchador (professional wrestler) and actor. He is regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of the lucha libre tradition in Mexico – along with El Santo and Blue Demon – and has been described as the first international superstar of lucha libre. Universal Lucha Libre (Universal Pro-Wrestling until 1991, Federación Universal de Lucha Libre afterward; UWF and FULL used as acronyms) was a professional wrestling promotion in Japan from 1990 to 1995 and again briefly in 1998. The name Universal Lucha Libre is used to differentiate the promotion from the Japanese UWF, a predecessor promotion which presented a very different style of professional wrestling. , better known by his ring name , was a Japanese professional wrestler, the first to adopt the high-flying Mexican lucha libre style.
