Ormož railway station () is the railway station in Ormož, Slovenia, which lies on the left bank of the Drava River and borders with Croatia on that river's opposite bank. The station is located on the Pragersko–Središče Railway line connecting Pragersko, where there is a junction with the main line between Ljubljana and Maribor, with Čakovec in Croatia. Ormož (; in older sources , , , Prekmurje Slovene: ''Ormošd'') is a town in the traditional region of Prlekija, part of Styria (Slovenia), Styria, in northeastern Slovenia. It lies on the left bank of the Drava, Drava River and borders with Croatia on the opposite bank of the river. It is the administrative seat of the Municipality of Ormož. Name Ormož was attested in written records in 1273 as ''Holermůs'' (and as ''Holrmues'' in 1299 and ''Holrmůs'' in 1320). The Pragersko–Središče Railway is a long railway in Slovenia that connects the Slovenian town Pragersko with the Croatian railway network west of Čakovec. Hodoš (; or , ) is a village in Slovenia. It is the seat of the Municipality of Hodoš. It is part of the Prekmurje region. Name Hodoš was first mentioned in written sources in 1331 as ''de Hudus-feu'' (and as ''Hodos'' in 1452 and 1453). The name is probably based on the hypocorism ''*Xodošь'', from the Slavic personal name ''*Xodъ''.
