Orlando Román
Orlando Bruno Román (born November 28, 1978) is a Puerto Rican professional baseball pitcher. He has played in the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) for the Brother Elephants in 2010 and 2011, the Lamigo Monkeys in 2016, and the Chinatrust Brothers in 2017, and in Nippon Professional Baseball for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows from 2012 to 2015. He currently serves as the pitching coach for the Fubon Guardians of the CPBL. Career Román attended Indian Hills Community College and was drafted by the New York Mets in the 31st round (946th overall) of the 1999 Major League Baseball draft. He played in the Mets' minor league organization through 2006, reaching Triple-A. He pitched in the minor league systems of the Baltimore Orioles in 2007 and the Toronto Blue Jays in 2008. Chinese Professional Baseball League
The Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL; ) is the top-tier professional baseball league in Taiwan. The league was established in 1989 and played the first season in 1990. Ángel Manuel Pagán (born July 2, 1981) is a Puerto Rican former professional baseball outfielder. He played in Major League Baseball for the Chicago Cubs, New York Mets, and San Francisco Giants. Pagán's original contract in Major League Baseball (MLB) was with the New York Mets, but he was transferred to the Chicago Cubs when they bought his contract. Pagán was traded back to the Mets prior to the 2008 season. In December 2011, he was traded to the San Francisco Giants for Andrés Torres and Ramón Ramírez. Pericos De Puebla
The Pericos de Puebla (English: Puebla Parrots) are a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Puebla. Their home ballpark is the Estadio de Béisbol Hermanos Serdán. Triple-A (officially Class AAA) has been the highest level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States since 1946.
