Orange Grove (Dalzell, South Carolina)
Orange Grove, also known as the Gaillard-Colclough House, is an historic plantations in the American South, plantation and its Plantation house in the Southern United States, plantation house at Gaillard's Crossroads, (intersection of Peach Orchard Road and Black River Road), north of Dalzell, South Carolina. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 19, 1993. Originally built in 1851 in a South Carolina Lowcountry vernacular style of architecture, the house was seriously damaged by a tornado on April 1924 tornado outbreak, April 30, 1924, and was rebuilt so that it now appears as a "raised cottage with a Prairie or Craftsman roof." The plantation house's main axis runs NW-SE, with the façade on the SE face. ''Raised'' is the third studio album by American country artist Hailey Whitters. It was released on March 18, 2022, via a partnership between Big Loud and her own imprint, Pigasus. On April 29–30, 1924, an outbreak of at least 28 tornadoes—26 of which were significant, meaning F2 or stronger—affected the Southern United States. The tornadoes left 114 dead and at least 1,166 injured, mostly in the Carolinas, with 76 deaths in South Carolina alone, along with 16 in Georgia and 13 in Alabama.
