Ontario Soccer Association
Ontario Soccer is a Canadian soccer organization. Established in 1901, Ontario Soccer is one of the oldest sports organizations in Canada. Ontario Soccer is composed of over 350,000 players, as well as coaches, referees, and administrators. Situated at Zanchin Automotive Soccer Centre in Vaughan, Ontario Soccer functions through its 18 member District Associations ("Districts"). District Association membership includes over 500 Youth Clubs and Senior Clubs across Ontario. Vaughan ( ) (2022 population 344,412) is a city in Ontario, Canada. It is located in the Regional Municipality of York, just north of Toronto. Vaughan was the fastest-growing municipality in Canada between 1996 and 2006 with its population increasing by 80.2% during this time period and having nearly doubled in population since 1991. West Ottawa SC
West Ottawa Soccer Club was a Canadian women's semi-professional soccer club based in Kanata, Ontario, just west of Ottawa that competed in the women's division League1 Ontario. The club continues to operate as a youth club. History The club was founded in 2010 as a youth soccer club when local clubs Goulbourn Soccer Club and Kanata Soccer Club decided to merge to form the West Ottawa Soccer Club. The club joined the women's division of League1 Ontario for the 2017 season becoming the first team in the league from Ottawa. They played their first match against Vaughan Azzurri losing 2-1. They left the league following the 2018 season. BVB International Academy Waterloo
Waterloo United is a Canadian semi-professional soccer club based in Waterloo, Ontario that plays in the League1 Ontario men's and women's divisions. Their home stadium is Warrior Field at the University of Waterloo. Waterloo United partnered with Borussia Dortmund in 2022, becoming part of their BVB International Academy North America program, rebranding the League1 Ontario club under this name. Vaughan Azzurri is a Canadian semi-professional soccer team based in Vaughan, Ontario, that currently competes in the League1 Ontario men's and women's divisions. The semi-professional team was founded in 2014 by the Vaughan Soccer Club, which is a youth soccer club as part of their High Performance Program. Tecumseh United Football Club is a Canadian association football, soccer club based in Tecumseh, Ontario, just east of Windsor, Ontario, Windsor, that competes in the women's division of League1 Ontario (women), League1 Ontario. The club rebranded it's competitive teams to its current name from Tecumseh SC in 2024.
