Ondřej Lingr (born 7 October 1998) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Major League Soccer club Houston Dynamo and the Czech Republic national team. Club career On 12 May 2017, Lingr made his Czech First League debut for Karviná in a match against Sparta Prague. On 6 August 2020, Lingr joined Slavia Prague for an estimated amount of €450,000, signing a contract until summer 2024. Ivan Hašek
Ivan Hašek (born 6 September 1963) is a Czech professional football coach and former player who currently manages the Czech national football team. Hašek played as a central midfielder and spent a 11-year career with Sparta Prague, appearing in more than 300 official matches with the club and becoming its coach. He represented Czechoslovakia at the 1990 World Cup and was also president of the Football Association of the Czech Republic. As a coach, Hašek worked with clubs in the Middle East between 2012 and 2019 before being appointed to Lebanon in 2021. He returned to manage the Czech Republic national team in 2024. The second round of the qualification tournament for the 2022 FIFA World Cup from UEFA (also known as the UEFA play-offs) was contested by twelve teams from the UEFA segment of qualifying. The play-offs determined the final three European teams that joined the group winners at the World Cup in Qatar. The ten runners-up from the UEFA first round groups participated in the play-offs, along with two group winners from the 2020–21 UEFA Nations League. Patrik Schick (born 24 January 1996) is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Bayer Leverkusen and the Czech Republic national team. Born in Prague, Schick began his career with local club Sparta Prague, rising through their youth ranks, before making his senior debut as a teenager. He spent the 2015–16 season on loan with Bohemians 1905, from where he moved at the age of 20 to Sampdoria in Italy. After his debut season in Italy, he moved to Roma in 2017.
