''Once'' is a 2007 Irish romance film, romantic Musical film, musical Drama (film and television), drama film written and directed by John Carney (director), John Carney. The film stars Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová as two struggling musicians in Dublin, Ireland. Hansard and Irglová had previously performed music as the The Swell Season, Swell Season, and composed and performed the film's original songs. ''Once'' spent years in development with the Irish Film Board and was made for a budget of €112,000. Featuring lyrics written by vocalist Eddie Vedder and music written by guitarist Stone Gossard, "Once" is the first track on the band's debut album, '' Ten'' (1991). Once railway station (, ; informally known as ) is a large railway terminus in central Buenos Aires, Argentina, in the ''Neighbourhoods of Buenos Aires, barrio'' of Balvanera. It is about a Jewish boy named Felix who lived in Poland and is on a quest to find his book-keeper parents after he sees Nazis burning the books from a Catholic orphanage where he lived for over three years. He finds a girl named Zelda, unconscious in a burning house with her dead parents, and takes her with him. He protects her from confronting her parents' death through storytelling. Although ''Once'' is a work of fiction, Gleitzman was inspired by the story of Janusz Korczak, the events of World War II, and Hitler's attempt to exterminate the Jewish population of Europe. The ONCE Group was a collection of musicians, visual artists, architects, and film-makers who wished to create an environment in which artists could explore and share techniques and ideas in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The group was responsible for hosting the ONCE Festival of New Music in Ann Arbor, Michigan, between 1961 and 1966. It was founded by Ann Arborites Robert Ashley, George Cacioppo, Gordon Mumma, Roger Reynolds and Donald Scavarda. ONCE cycling team, () also known as Liberty Seguros, Liberty Seguros–Würth and in succession in its final year, Astana–Würth and Astana was a Spanish cycling team. It road bicycle racing, competed in the Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI UCI ProTour, ProTour circuit.
