Olav Dalgard
Olav Dalgard (June 19, 1898 – December 25, 1980) was a Norway, Norwegian literary and art historian, filmmaker, author and educator. Biography Dalgard was born Olaf Hanssen in Folldal Municipality, in Hedmark, Norway. From the age of three, he was raised in Oppdal Municipality in Trøndelag. He earned an M.A. degree in literature and art history at the University of Oslo in 1929. He was an advocate of the use of Nynorsk and served as the chairman of the student Nynorsk association. He was also involved in the Mot Dag movement. Dalgard worked as a literary critic for the newspapers ''Dagbladet'' and ''Arbeiderbladet''. Dalgard took over as dramatic advisor and instructor for Det Norske Teateret in 1931 and was involved with the theater for 48 years. Dagmar Myhrvold
Dagmar Myhrvold (April 19, 1898 – April 21, 1972) was a Norwegian actress. After attending Sofie Bernhoft's school, Myhrvold spent a year studying theater in Copenhagen. In 1916 she was able to make her debut as a participant in Edvard Drabløs's touring theater. The following year there was a tour with '' The Dance of Death'' by August Strindberg, in which she played two roles, was responsible for the music, and played violin. From 1919 onward she was engaged with the Norwegian Theater. Already as a young woman, Myhrvold often played older women, whom she portrayed with weight and credibility, including the mothers in Leo Tolstoy's ''The Power of Darkness'' and Selma Lagerlöf's '' The Emperor of Portugallia'' as well as Tale in Olav Duun's ''Medmenneske'' (Fellow Man). Einar Vaage (March 1, 1889 – June 11, 1973) was a Norwegian actor. Vaage was active in Oslo from 1921 onward, where he was engaged with the Central Theater (from 1925 to 1931) and the Oslo New Theater. The comedy roles that Vaage played include the clerk Styver in Henrik Ibsen's play ''Love's Comedy''. Vaage appeared in 49 Norwegian films. He played bit roles in most of them. Waage debuted in the silent film ''Madame besøker Oslo'' in 1927, and he played one of the lead roles in '' Sangen om Rondane'' in 1934, which was one of the first sound films in Norway. He is probably best remembered for his portrayal of Judge Nicolai Bals in '' Tante Pose'' (1940). Vaage's last film role was in the 1964 comedy '' Husmorfilmen høsten 1964''. Lars Tvinde (11 September 1886 – 25 June 1973) was a Norwegian stage and film actor. Biography Tvinde was born at Voss in Hordaland, Norway. He was the son of Knut Haldorsen (1843–1927) and Eli Jørgensdotter Leidal (1842–1927). He attended Voss folkehøgskule and for eight years, he worked for his uncle at a store in Vossevangen. He also appeared at amateur theater in Bergen. He started working for Det Norske Teatret in Oslo during 1912. Hans Stormoen (29 May 19064 April 1979) was a Norwegian actor. Family Stormoen was born in Bergen, the son of the farmers Marius Stormoen and Synnøve Henriksen. He was the half-brother of the actor Harald Stormoen and the uncle of the actor Kjell Stormoen. Erna Schøyen
Erna Kamilla Schøyen (born Erna Kamille Berg, March 1, 1887 – December 21, 1968) was a Norwegians, Norwegian actress. Career Schøyen trained as an actress at the National Theatre (Oslo), National Theatre from 1905 to 1906, and she had her debut at the Fahlstrøm Theater in 1906. She remained there until she relocated to the Centralteatret, Central Theater in 1911, where she worked until 1959. Schøyen was also engaged with Chat Noir from 1920 to 1924. Schøyen also appeared in dozens of films, including some of Norway's first silent films. When ''Alice in Wonderland (1951 film), Alice in Wonderland'' was dubbed into Norwegian in 1951, Schøyen played one of the voices.
