Old Town, Al-Ula
The Old Town is an archaeological site near al-‘Ulā, Medina Province, Saudi Arabia. It is known as ''al-Dirah'' (). Inside al-Dīrah are ancient heritage buildings, mosques(masjid), and markets, dating back about seven centuries, currently under restoration development. The provinces of Saudi Arabia, also known as regions (), are the 13 first-level administrative divisions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. al-Ula (), officially AlUla, is an ancient Arabian oasis city and governorate located in Medina Province, Saudi Arabia, northwest of the city of Medina.
