Okada Manila ( Japanese: オカダマニラ, romanized: ''Okada Manira'') is an integrated resort located on the Entertainment City gaming strip in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines. With a total construction cost of about ¥250 billion, Okada Manila was established and opened after seven years of construction in 2017. History Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment was granted a license to operate a casino within the Entertainment City in 2008. In June 2016, the casino complex then named as Manila Bay Resorts was re-branded as Okada Manila. The facility is intended to be used by Okada to compete with casinos in Macau and to position Metro Manila as a regional and international destination. The casino was set to open in November 2016 but the opening was later delayed due to worse-than-expected weather conditions. Miss Earth 2022 was the 22nd edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines, on 29 November 2022. The competition returned to the Philippines into a standard format for the first time since 2019, after easing travel restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. Miss Earth 2019 was the 19th edition of the Miss Earth pageant, held at the Okada Manila in Parañaque, Metro Manila, Philippines, on October 26, 2019. Nguyễn Phương Khánh of Vietnam crowned Nellys Pimentel of Puerto Rico as her successor at the end of the event. This marks the first time Puerto Rico has won Miss Earth, becoming the first territory to win at least once in all of the Big Four beauty pageants.
