Ojārs Siliņš
Ojārs Siliņš (born 20 July 1993) is a Latvian professional basketball player for Legia Warsaw of the Polish Basketball League (PLK). He plays the small forward and power forward positions. Professional career Siliņš made his professional debut aged 16 with hometown team BK Ķeizarmežs during the 2009–10 season, playing in both the Latvian Basketball League and the Baltic Basketball League (6.8 points and 2.2 rebounds per game in the latter). Transferring midseason to youth side Stella Azzurra Roma, he participated in the Euroleague Next Generation Tournament with the team, finishing as top scorer of the Rome leg with 20.5 points per game, in addition to 5.3 rebounds. Siliņš had a trial with Italian professional side Trenkwalder Reggio Emilia, later signing a multi-year contract. His first team debut was in December 2011 in a Cup game, scoring 13 points. The Polish Basketball Supercup ( Polish: "Superpuchar Polski w Koszykówce") is the supercup game of Polish men's top-tier level professional club basketball. Each season, the winner of the Polish League, plays against the winner of the Polish Cup, to cap off the new season. The Latvian Basketball League (LBL; ) also known as the '' Pafbet'' LBL for sponsorship reasons, is the top-level national basketball championship in Latvia composed of 6 teams. Since 2018/19, only the playoff matches are played, as the top Latvian clubs play the regular season in the Latvian–Estonian Basketball League. The LBL is governed by the Latvian Basketball Association, the national governing body of basketball in Latvia. The Latvia men's national basketball team () represents Latvia in international basketball. They are organized and run by the Latvian Basketball Association. FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship
The FIBA U20 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U20 European Championship, originally known as the European Championship for Men '22 and Under'. It is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1992 edition. Through the 2004 edition, it was held biennially, but since the 2005 edition, it is held every year. The tournament was originally an Under-22 age tournament, but it is now an Under-20 age tournament. The current champions are France. The Kazakhstan Basketball Championship () is the highest professional basketball league in Kazakhstan, organised by the National Basketball Federation Kazakhstan.
