Ohio is an unincorporated community in northern St. Clair County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is at the intersection of Missouri routes A and F and south of Cooper Creek. Lowry City is on Missouri Route 13 approximately seven miles to the east and Appleton City is approximately nine miles to the west-northwest on Missouri Route 52. Missouri Route 13
Route 13 is a highway in Missouri which runs almost the entire north–south length of the state. Its northern terminus is at U.S. Route 69/ 136 in Bethany. Its southern terminus is at the Arkansas state line in downtown Blue Eye, Missouri–Arkansas where it continues as Highway 21. It is one of the original state highways of Missouri. The road serves as an important corridor between Springfield and Kansas City, two of the three largest cities in the state. Heading north from Springfield, Route 13 intersects Route 7 at Clinton which in turn carries traffic to Interstate 49/ U.S. Route 71 at Harrisonville. Route 52 is an east/west highway running from its eastern terminus at Route 133 east of St. Elizabeth to the Kansas state line where it continues as K-52 (this road continues for 23 additional miles). Highway 52 comprises of primarily two-lane roadway in Missouri. Route 52 was formerly Route 24 between Eldon and the Kansas state line.
