, is a Japanese internet entrepreneur and creative director who founded Japan's mega fashion show, "Tokyo Girls Collection". Ohama is also an animation director and the founder of RABBITWARREN ANIMATION STUDIOS, which created the popular animation channel "RABBITWARREN". Kendra Ohama
Kendra Ohama (January 6, 1965) is a Canadian retired wheelchair basketball player. As a member of Team Canada, she won three gold medals and one bronze during the Paralympic Games. Early life Ohama was born in Brooks, Alberta on January 6, 1965. Career After becoming paralyzed from the waist down at the age of 16 following a car accident, Ohama was approached a Calgary Grizzlies player in a store who convinced her to play the sport. She was eventually invited to tryout for the Canada women's national wheelchair basketball team in 1989. Ohama made her senior debut at the 1992 Summer Paralympics, where Team Canada won gold. She also won gold at the 1996 and 2000 Paralympic Games and bronze at the 2004 Summer Paralympics. Ohama was later named to Team Canada's roster for the 2008 Osaka Cup in Japan. Linda Ohama is a Canadian artist and filmmaker. She is most noted for her 2001 film '' Obāchan's Garden.'' Career Ohama's first feature-length documentary was '' Obāchan's Garden'', released in 2001''.'' The film centred on Ohama's grandmother, Asayo Murakami, and was partly filmed in Onomichi. Ohama Kagetaka
was a Japanese pirate during the latter part of the Sengoku period and the Azuchi–Momoyama period of Japan. He operated in the Shima Province area (now part of Mie Prefecture), and later commanded naval forces for both Takeda Shingen and Tokugawa Ieyasu before his death in 1597 at the age of 57. History Ohama operated as a pirate chief in the area that is present-day Ohama-cho in Toba, Mie Prefecture. He held great power in the Ise Bay area as well as being very influential over the Kitabatake clan, which held the governorship of the Ise Province. Hankai Tramway
is a company which owns two tramway lines in the cities of Osaka and Sakai, Osaka, Japan. It was originally a subsidiary of Nankai Electric Railway Co., Ltd. although it still uses the Nankai symbol as its logo. History Hankai Tramway Co., Ltd. was founded in 1910. In 1915, the company merged with the Nankai Railway which runs both north and south in Osaka. The city's overall tram network was once extensive. Ōhama Domain
The was a Japanese domain of the Edo period. It was associated with Shinano Province in modern-day Nagano Prefecture. In the han system, Ōhama was a political and economic abstraction based on periodic cadastral surveys and projected agricultural yields. In other words, the domain was defined in terms of ''kokudaka'', not land area. This was different from the feudalism of the West. History The domain only existed for a few years. It ended in 1777. The hereditary ''daimyō'' was head of the clan and head of the domain. In Ōhama, the sole ''daimyō'' of Ōhama was Mizuno Tadatomo.
