Odmar Færø
Odmar Færø (born 1 November 1989) is a Faroese association football, footballer who plays as a centre-back for Klaksvíkar Ítróttarfelag, KÍ. Færø has represented the Faroe Islands national football team and previously played for Hamarkameratene, B36 Tórshavn, Keith F.C., Keith, Brøndby IF, Forfar Athletic F.C., Forfar Athletic and Banks O' Dee F.C., Banks O' Dee. Career Færø played his youth football in Scotland where his father, ex-Faroese international player Oddmar, worked as a dentist. He was called up to the Faroe Islands national under-19 football team, Faroe Islands U19 squad in 2006 while still a player at Highland Football League, Highland League side, Keith F.C., Keith. Færø moved to the Faroe Islands at the age of 17, joining B36 Tórshavn. Tórshavn
Tórshavn (; ; Danish language, Danish: ''Thorshavn''), usually locally referred to as simply Havn, is the capital and largest city of the Faroe Islands. It is located in the southern part on the east coast of Streymoy. To the northwest of the city lies the mountain Húsareyn, and to the southwest, the Kirkjubøreyn. They are separated by the Sandá River. The city itself has a population of 14,038 (2024), and the greater urban area has a population of 23,160, including the suburbs of Hoyv%C3%ADk and Argir. Highland Football League
The Scottish Highland Football League (SHFL, commonly known as the Highland League) is a senior football league based in the north of Scotland. The league sits at level 5 on the Scottish football league system, acting as a feeder to the Scottish Professional Football League. Founded in 1893, it is currently composed of 18 member clubs in a single division. The 2018 Faroe Islands Cup was the 64th edition of Faroe Islands domestic football cup. The competition started on 25 April and ended with the final on 25 August. NSÍ Runavík, NSÍ were the defending champions, having won their third cup title the 2017 Faroe Islands Cup, previous year, but were upset in the first round by eventual semifinalists Argja Bóltfelag, AB, becoming the first defending champion since 1992 to be knocked out in the first stage. The Scottish Junior Football Association (SJFA) is an affiliated national association of the Scottish Football Association and is the governing body for the junior grade of football (soccer), football in Scotland.
