Odlew Poznań
HKS Odlew Poznań is a Polish amateur association football club from Poznań, Greater Poland. Despite its lowly position in the football league pyramid, the club has gained widespread notoriety and almost legendary status for its humorous approach to football and promotion of football at the amateur level, making it one of the best supported and recognisable non-professional football clubs. Etymology The club name was chosen on the basis of the popular 1988 comedy film ''Piłkarski Poker'' which, although fictitious, was later widely seen to have been an accurate representation of match-fixing practices at the time. One of the fictitious clubs in the league was a team by the name ''Odlew Poznań'', which only had a few seconds' worth of appearances in the film and a very minor role to the plot, the chairman of the club being even denied a speaking part. Klasa B represents the eighth (or ninth in some regions) level of the Polish football hierarchy. Czesław Michniewicz
Czesław Michniewicz (; born 12 February 1970) is a Polish professional football manager and former player who most recently managed Botola Pro side AS FAR. He managed the Poland national team in 2022. Managerial career Early years In September 2003, Michniewicz was appointed as the manager of Lech Poznań. He led the side to the 2003–04 Polish Cup and Polish Super Cup titles. He left the club in June 2006. In October 2006, he was appointed manager of Ekstraklasa side Zagłębie Lubin, leading the club to the 2006–07 league title. In October 2007, he was relieved of his duties. Stryków
Stryków is a town in central Poland, in Łódź Voivodeship, in Zgierz County. It has 3,428 inhabitants (2020). It is located within the historic Łęczyca Land. History Early history The first mention of Stryków was in 1387. Stryków was a village situated on the route from Zgierz to Łowicz. Stryków received town rights in 1394 from King Władysław II Jagiełło, at the request of the heir of the town founder, Deresław Strykowski. The Polish Football Association ( PZPN) is the governing body of association football in Poland. Ultras are a type of association football fans who are known for their fanatical support. The term originated in Italy, but is used worldwide to describe predominantly organised fans of association football teams. The behavioural tendency of ultras groups includes singing football chants, playing musical instruments such as drums, their use of flares and smoke bombs (primarily in ''tifo'' choreography), frequent use of elaborate displays, vocal support in large groups and the displaying of flags and banners at football stadiums, all of which are designed to create an atmosphere which encourages their own team and intimidates the opposing players and their supporters. Warta Poznań () is a multi-sports club based in Poznań, Poland. The name means ''the Guard'' in Polish and also the name of the river Warta on which Poznań is located. Franciszek Smuda
Franciszek Smuda (; 22 June 1948 – 18 August 2024) was a Polish football player and manager. As a player, he spent his career playing for clubs in Poland, the United States and Germany. In 1983, he turned to coaching, becoming the manager of Widzew Łódź, Wisła Kraków, Legia Warsaw and Lech Poznań, among others. He has won three Polish Ekstraklasa titles. From 2009 he was the manager of the Poland national team, but resigned on 16 June 2012, following their elimination from Euro 2012. Katarzyna Ewa Skowrońska-Dolata (born 30 June 1983) is a Polish former volleyball player, a member of Poland women's national volleyball team and Italian club Foppapedretti Bergamo, double European Champion (2003, 2005), gold medalist of Italian, Turkish, Chinese and Azeri national championships.
