Oakleigh South is a suburb in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 17 km south-east of Melbourne's Central Business District, located within the Cities of Kingston and Monash local government areas. A largely residential suburb, its boundaries are North Road to the north, South Road to the south, Warrigal Road to the west and Huntingdale/Clarinda Roads to the east. The Dingley Arterial Road Project (in the Dingley Freeway reserve) is a partially completed arterial standard road which runs east to west through the southern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Although the road was designed to be a freeway for the full length of the planned 19 kilometre route, plans have instead evolved over time which has resulted in the construction of bypasses for the Melbourne suburbs of Mordialloc, Springvale, and Dandenong. Huntingdale Railway Station
Huntingdale railway station is located on the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Oakleigh, and it opened on 25 June 1927 as East Oakleigh. It was renamed Huntingdale on 1 October 1954.
