Oakleaf Plantation is a planned community in the Jacksonville area located mostly in unincorporated Clay County and partially within the Jacksonville city limits ( Duval County). The Clay County portion is a census-designated place, with a 2010 population of 20,315. As of 2020, the population has risen to 28,153. State Road 23 (First Coast Expressway), Jacksonville's future outer beltway, runs north–south through the center of OakLeaf Plantation. Argyle Forest Boulevard runs east to State Road 21 (Blanding Boulevard) in the Jacksonville neighborhood of Argyle Forest. Oakleaf High School is a high school located in Orange Park, Florida. History The school began construction in 2007 and was completed in June 2010. The school's grand opening was August 16, 2010. The class of 2012 was the first class to graduate from Oakleaf High School. Since its opening, Oakleaf has gained a reputation for inclusiveness, being home to several multicultural organizations such as the Hispanic Club, Filipino Club, and Christian Club, as well as ranking within the top twenty schools in Florida for diversity of the student body. State Road 21 (SR 21) runs mostly in a southwest-to-northeast direction in the US state of Florida from McMeekin to Jacksonville. It is also known as Blanding Boulevard for much of its length. SR 21 is one of three routes, along with Roosevelt Boulevard ( US 17) and the First Coast Expressway ( SR 23), that connect Jacksonville with its surroundings west of the St. Johns River. State Road 23 (SR 23), also known as the First Coast Expressway, is an outer bypass around the southwest quadrant of Jacksonville. , the first phase has been built, linking the Middleburg area to Interstate 10 near Whitehouse. The ultimate plan is for a $1.8 billion, , four-lane toll expressway continuing southeast to Green Cove Springs and east to Interstate 95 near the World Golf Village, to be constructed in two phases.
