Oakland Community College
Oakland Community College (OCC) is a public community college with five campuses in Oakland County, Michigan. Established in 1964, OCC is the largest community college in Michigan, with the state's third-largest undergraduate enrollment. Enrollment at the college for the 2016-2017 school year was 29,560. Oakland Community College has been accredited by the Higher Learning Commission since 1971, and has a Carnegie Classification of Associate's Colleges: High Transfer-High Nontraditional. The college offers 57 Associate degrees and 41 different programs. Several students and faculty in OCC's culinary arts program have been awarded state, national, and international culinary awards. Auburn Hills, Michigan
Auburn Hills is a city in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 21,412 at the 2010 census. Before incorporating as a city in 1983, the area was part of the now-defunct Pontiac Township. WORB
Worb is a municipality in the Bern-Mittelland administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland. History Worb is first mentioned around 1130-46 as ''Worw''. The oldest traces of settlements in the area include scattered neolithic artifacts, Hallstatt grave mounds in the Buchliwald and a La Tene cemetery at Rohrmoos-Stockeren. Other prehistoric graves have been found in the Gschneitwald. A Roman estate from the 2nd and 3rd centuries and a Roman grave have also been discovered. Oakland Early College (OEC) is a five-year early college high school serving students throughout Oakland County, Michigan. It represents a partnership between the West Bloomfield School District and Oakland Community College's (OCC) Orchard Ridge campus. Newsweek's annual ranking of public schools in America ranked OEC as #159. Interstate 696 (I-696) is an east–west auxiliary Interstate Highway in the Metro Detroit region of the US state of Michigan. The state trunkline highway is also known as the Walter P. Reuther Freeway, named for the prominent auto industry union head by the Michigan Legislature in 1971. I-696 is a bypass route, detouring around the city of Detroit through the city's northern suburbs in Oakland and Macomb counties. Pontiac Township, Michigan
Pontiac Township is a defunct charter township in Oakland County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The area consisted of what is now the cities of Pontiac, Auburn Hills, and Lake Angelus. Pontiac Township was bordered on the north by Brown Road and Dutton Road, on the east by South Adams Road (including a line extending north from South Adams Road), on the south by South Boulevard, and on the west by Telegraph Road.
