Oak Ridge High School (Orlando, Florida)
Oak Ridge High School is a public high school in Orlando, Florida, established in 1959. The school had been rated a D or F institution by the state starting in 2000. In 2012, the school was awarded a C grade, breaking the low performance streak. In 2013, the school further improved and was awarded a B grade. Campus The Campus has been expanded/remodeled since the founding of the school. During the summer of 2010, demolition began on the northern side of campus as the 600 building and "Fish Farm", which had been the Tech Ed building, was torn down to make room for the new school. The students are scheduled to move into the new building on a staggered schedule during the fall semester of the 2011-2012 school year. Emmitt Mack Williams V (born September 15, 1998) is an American professional basketball player for the Gigantes de Carolina of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). He played college basketball for the LSU Tigers. High school career As a freshman, Williams played for Lehigh Senior High School in Lehigh Acres, Florida, where he averaged 15.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game before transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, for his sophomore season. At IMG Academy, he was teammates with highly touted recruits Trevon Duval and Silvio De Sousa and played for one of the best teams in the country. In the 2015–16 season, Williams averaged 16.4 points, 12.6 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game, playing in the power forward position. Terry Michael Billups (born February 9, 1975) is an American former professional football defensive back in the National Football League (NFL) for the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys. He also was a member of the Rhein Fire, Los Angeles Xtreme and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He played college football at the University of North Carolina. Early life Billups attended Oak Ridge High School. As a senior, he was a two-way player, collecting 88 tackles, 4 interceptions, 32 carries for 325 yards, 5 receptions of 140 yards and 4 touchdowns. Terry Reese
Terry Reese (born June 20, 1967) is an American male former track and field hurdling, hurdler who specialized in the 110-meter hurdles. His best season came in 1997: that year he had his only top three finish at national level at the 1997 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, placed sixth in the final at the 1997 World Championships in Athletics, and set a lifetime best of 13.22 seconds in Cologne, Germany. He had his highest global ranking that year, at ninth overall. He was a finalist at national level in other years, taking fourth in 1995 and sixth in 2001 and 2002. Born in Orlando, Florida, he attended North Carolina State University and competed for their NC State Wolfpack team. His younger brother Kelvin was also a hurdler for the institution. His best while there was seventh at the NCAA outdoors in his final year. He had little success until pairing with coach Trevor Graham in 1995. His performances greatly improved thereafter.
