OAK Racing
OAK Racing is an Endurance racing (motorsport), endurance racing team specialising in sports prototypes based in Le Mans, France. In 2013 24 Hours of Le Mans, 2013 it won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in Le Mans Prototype, LMP2 class and the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship season, 2013 FIA WEC World Champion drivers and teams on LMP2 class. In 2012 the team contested the FIA World Endurance Championship with LMP1 and LMP2 prototypes (including the blue riband Le Mans 24 Hours) as well as the European Le Mans Series, which caters for LMP2 cars only. After a number of successful years in the Le Mans Prototype, LMP2 class the team stepped up to the premier Le Mans Prototype, LMP1 category in 2011. Jacques Nicolet
Jacques Nicolet (born 5 April 1956 in Gigondas) is a French businessman and racing driver. He is the chairman of the Supervisory Board for Altarea SCA, a French Real estate investing, real estate investment and development company, which he co-founded in 1994 with Alain Taravela. He was previously the director of development at the Pierre & Vacances Group between 1984 and 1994. He is also the owner and a driver of OAK Racing, a Le Mans 24 Hours and FIA World Endurance Championship racing team. Racing career Nicolet began his racing career in historic racing, competing in the V de V Historic Series between 2001 and 2006. In 2003, he formed Heritage Racing Cars, responsible for maintaining classic endurance sports cars. At the end of 2006, Nicolet bought Saulnier Racing. 2013 24 Hours Of Le Mans
The 81st 24 Hours of Le Mans (French: ''81e 24 Heures du Mans'') was a 24-hour Endurance racing (motorsport), automobile endurance racing event for teams of three drivers entering Le Mans Prototype and LM GTE, Le Mans Grand Touring Endurance cars held from 19 to 23 June 2013 at the Circuit de la Sarthe close to Le Mans, Le Mans, France. It was the 81st running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, event, as organised by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO) since 1923 24 Hours of Le Mans, 1923. The race was the third and the premier round of the 2013 FIA World Endurance Championship, with 32 of the race's 56 entries contesting the championship. Pescarolo Sport
Pescarolo Sport was a motorsport team based in Le Mans, France, and founded in February 2000 by French racing driver Henri Pescarolo and his friend and partner, French publisher François Granet. They raced in the Le Mans Series and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. In October 2007, Henri Pescarolo purchased Jacques Nicolet's Saulnier Racing and created Pescarolo Automobiles, with the racing team becoming a division of the new company. The Pescarolo Automobiles went into receivership on 15 June 2010. Following a liquidation sale, the company was resold back to Henri Pescarolo and rebranded as Pescarolo Team for the 2011 season. Everspeed is a French holding company for motorsport related companies. The company was founded by Jacques Nicolet as JN Holding. The company was renamed as Everspeed in 2016. History Jacques Nicolet took over Saulnier Racing in January 2007. He later founded JN Holding on 14 December 2007. Saulnier Racing was rebranded as OAK Racing in early 2009.
