New York Federation Of College Republicans
The New York Federation of College Republicans, also known as the NYFCR, is an organization that oversees College Republicans chapters across the state of New York. The NYFCR and its chapters are made up of college and university students who support the Republican Party of the United States. In 2021, the NYFCR withdrew from the College Republican National Committee. The NYFCR now functions as an independent organization, and is affiliated with different Republican and conservative groups in New York state, including the New York Republican State Committee and the New York Young Republican Club. The executive board of NYFCR is made up of ten positions headed by a chairperson. The current chairman of the organization is James Marci. The organization is known as an active recruiting tool for the party and has produced many prominent republican and conservative activists and introduced more party members to the Republican party than any other organization in the nation. Kelli Ward (''née'' Kaznoski; born January 25, 1969) is an American osteopathic physician and politician who has served as the chair of the Arizona Republican Party since 2019. She served in the Arizona State Senate from 2013 to 2015. She challenged incumbent Senator John McCain in the Republican primary for the United States Senate in 2016. Resigning from the state senate to focus on the race, Ward was defeated 51% to 39%.
