A new normal is a state to which an economy, society, etc. settles following a crisis, when this differs from the situation that prevailed prior to the start of the crisis. The term has been employed in relation to World War I, the September 11 attacks, the financial crisis of 2007–2008, the aftermath of the Great Recession, the COVID-19 pandemic and other events. ''The New Normal'' is the first studio album by Australian Rock music, rock band Cog (band), Cog, released on April 12, 2005 by MGM Distribution, Difrnt Music. The album was produced in Weed, California by Sylvia Massy (Tool (band), Tool, System of a Down, Spiderbait). ''The New Normal'' was made the album of the week on Triple J and at the J Award of 2005, the album was nominated for Australian Album of the Year. The album peaked at number 19 on the Australian Recording Industry Association album chart. "New Normal" is the tenth episode of the fifth season of the American television drama series ''Homeland'', and the 58th episode overall. It premiered on Showtime on December 6, 2015. Plot Saul (Mandy Patinkin) is absolved when Krupin (Mark Ivanir) admits that the Russians orchestrated the bombing of General Youssef's plane. Carrie (Claire Danes) and Saul are convinced of Allison's (Miranda Otto) guilt, and become frustrated when Dar Adal (F. Murray Abraham) refuses to make a final judgment without more evidence. Dar also suggests to Saul that quietly shuffling Allison down the ranks of the CIA might be a better solution politically than the massive scandal that would erupt if it was exposed that a Russian agent had risen to CIA station chief. Saul attempts to get a confession out of Allison, but when recounting the deaths of CIA colleagues he believes to be attributable to Allison, he explodes in rage at her and is taken away by security. New Normal Music
New Normal Music was an Internet radio station created by Tom Leykis and Art Webb that began streaming July 1, 2010. Leykis created New Normal Music in protest of radio stations who claim to play "new music" but only play safe market tested music often 10+ years old. "When Red Hot Chili Peppers release a new album, many radio stations refer to it as 'new music'. They were formed in 1983." The station started off by playing 50,000 songs in a row - none more than 12 months old, mainly Indie Rock. Although songs were repeated and there were regular advertisements for the station itself. The station planned to sell advertising. Some representative bands featured on the station included Arcade Fire, Fitz and the Tantrums, LCD Soundsystem, MGMT, Of Montreal and The Black Keys.
