New Brunswick Route 126
Route 126 is a North/South provincial highway in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. The road runs from Route 117 intersection in Miramichi. The road has a length of approximately 121 kilometres, and services small, otherwise isolated rural communities. In these areas, the highway is often unofficially referred to as "Main Street." The road parallels the New Brunswick East Coast Railway directly to the east. When the highway enters Moncton it changes to Ensley Drive, then Mountain Road. History Route 126 was commissioned in 1965 to replace the former route 33. It was shortened in Miramichi in 1997 to end at the new Route 117 bypass, rerouted in the Lutes Mountain area in 1998 to follow a short section of the former Trans-Canada Highway (Route 2), and shortened in Moncton in 2003 when the portion of Mountain Road south of Wheeler Boulevard ( Route 15) was turned over to city control. The Department of Transportation is a part of the Government of New Brunswick. It is charged with the maintenance of the provincial highway network and the management of the province's automobile fleet. The department was established in 1967 when Premier Louis Robichaud split the Department of Public Works and Highways. In 2012, it returned to these roots when it was merged with most of the Department of Supply and Services to form a new Department of Transportation and Infrastructure. Carding is a mechanical process that disentangles, cleans and intermixes fibres to produce a continuous web or sliver suitable for subsequent processing. New Brunswick Route 128
Route 128 is a provincial highway in the Canadian province of New Brunswick. The highway starts in Lutes Mountain as Homestead Road at Route 126. The road travels in a horseshoe pattern through two small communities before ending in the city of Moncton at an interchange with Route 15 (Wheeler Boulevard). In the community of Berry Mills, New Brunswick, the road is called Berry Mills Road and in Moncton, Route 128 is also designated Killam Drive. History The Berry Mills Road follows a former rail line. When two rival lines, who had built within literally feet of each other, merged in the early 20th century, one was torn up and turned into a road bed. Route 128 was commissioned in 1965, taking over a small part of the former Route 30. Canaan is a Canadian community, located in Westmorland County, New Brunswick. The community is situated in southeastern New Brunswick, to the northwest of Moncton. Route 515 is a long east–west secondary highway in the south east portion of New Brunswick, Canada. The route's eastern terminus is at Route 475 and Route 134 in the town of Bouctouche. The road runs parallel to the north bank of the Bouctouche River. Route 515 briefly merges with Route 134, which is known as ''Irving Blvd'', as it travels southwest across Route 11 to the Bouctouche neighbourhood of Boisjoli. The road crosses a small branch of the Bouctouche River and continues to the community of Maria-de-Kent. It then crosses another small branch and continues on to the community of Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, where it intersects with the northern terminus of Route 115 and Route 525. Coal Branch is a Canadian unincorporated community, located in Kent County, New Brunswick. The community is situated in southeastern New Brunswick, to the northwest of Moncton.
