Nationalist Youth of Catalonia (''Joventut Nacionalista de Catalunya'', JNC) is the youth organisation of Together for Catalonia, founded in 1980 as the youth group of Democratic Convergence of Catalonia (CDC). Alvaro Clapés-Saganyoles Baena is the general secretary since March 2021. It is a full member organization of the European Liberal Youth and the International Federation of Liberal Youth. International Federation Of Liberal Youth
The International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) is an international liberal youth organization. It consists of a global membership of national youth organizations. These are often but not exclusively affiliated with political parties that are members of Liberal International. IFLRY holds full member status to Liberal International and the European Youth Forum ( YFJ), which operates within the Council of Europe and European Union areas and works closely with both these bodies. He served as the Counselor of Territory and Sustainability of Catalonia at the Government of Carles Puigdemont between 2016 and 2017, when Spanish Rajoy's Government ceased the Catalan executive following the Catalan declaration of independence amid the application of Article 155 of the Spanish Constitution.
