Nørve
Nørve (or ''Nørvøya'') is an island in Ã…lesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is the largest of the islands containing the city center of Ã…lesund, the others being Aspøya and Hessa, located to the west. The island of Nørve is located south of Ellingsøya, north of Sula, and west of Uksenøya. There were 9,647 residents living on the island in 2015. Ã…lesund University College, the municipal hall, Volsdalen Church, and the stadium of the local association football team Aalesunds FK are located on Nørvøya. The hill Aksla, a popular place from where to photograph the city, is located on the western part of Nørvøya. The European route E136 highway runs along the south side of the island, connecting it to the other islands of Uksenøya (on the east) and Aspøya (on the west). Ã…lesund (, sometimes spelled Aalesund in English) is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal County, Norway. It is part of the traditional district of Sunnmøre and the centre of the Ã…lesund Region. The town of Ã…lesund is the administrative centre of Ã…lesund Municipality, as well as the principal shipping town of the Sunnmøre district. The town is a sea port and is noted for its concentration of Art Nouveau architecture. Although sometimes internationally spelled by its older name ''Aalesund'', this spelling is obsolete in Norwegian. Aspøya is an island in Ã…lesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The island is one of the islands on which the city of Ã…lesund is built. The other islands are Hessa (to the west) and Nørve (to the east). Aspøya is the location of the 1904 Ã…lesund Fire. The small island has some residential development around Ã…lesund Church. Ellingsøya is a island in Ã…lesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. With an area of , Ellingsøya is the second largest island in the municipality after Uksenøya.
