Nína Dögg Filippusdóttir
Nína Dögg Filippusdóttir (born 25 February 1974) is an Icelandic actress and producer. She is known for '' Children'' (2006), '' Trapped'' (2015), '' Undercurrent'' (2010), ''The Valhalla Murders'' (2020) and '' Blackport'' (2021). Early life Nína was born in Reykjavík. Her parents, Bylgja Scheving and Filippus Gunnar Árnason, were very young and split up when she was two years old. She grew up in the Breiðholt district of Reykjavík. When she was 19 years old, she worked as an au pair for one year in Denmark. She had plans to go to acting school there when she was not working, but found she was too busy. The Edda Award is an accolade bestowed annually by the Icelandic Film and Television Academy, and is the most prominent film and television award in Iceland, awarded annually in February. The National Theatre of Iceland (NTI) ( is, Þjóðleikhúsið, pronounced ) in Reykjavík, is the national theatre of Iceland. Sigurjón Brink (29 August 1974 – 17 January 2011), better known as Sjonni Brink or just the mononym Sjonni, was an Icelandic musician and singer. The Order of the Falcon ( is, Hin íslenska fálkaorða) is the only order of chivalry in Iceland, founded by King Christian X of Denmark and Iceland on 3 July 1921. The award is awarded for merit for Iceland and humanity and has five degrees. Nowadays, appointments are made on the nomination of the President of Iceland and that of a "five-member council."
