Nándor Hargitai
Nándor Hargitai also known as Nándor Szirmai (20 October 1919 – 11 September 2006) was a Hungarian football midfielder. Career Born in Mátraszele, he begin his career at the youth team of Dorogi FC. He debuted at age 17 for Dorogi senior team in the 1936–37 season but a year later he was signing with Ferencvárosi TC. He made only one appearance for Ferencváros in the 1937–38 season when they won the Hungarian championship. While playing with Ferencváros he changed his name to Nándor Szirmai. In the 1938–39 season, he joined another Hungarian top-flight club, Phöbus FC. In 1940 he moved to Yugoslav club NAK Novi Sad. However, after only one season, and with Second World War on their way, the city of Novi Sad was occupied by Hungarian forces, and NAK begin to be known as Újvideki AC and play in the Hungarian championship. Mátraszele
Mátraszele is a village in Nógrád County, Hungary, the Zagyva river flows through the settlement. As of 2022 census, it has a population of 904 (see Demographics). The village located 8.5 km from (Nr. 81) Hatvan–Fiľakovo railway line, 12.0 km far from Salgótarján, 10.4 km from the main road 21 and 52.8 km from the M3 motorway. The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, ), also known as NB I or Fizz Liga after its title sponsor, OTP Bank's webshop subsidiary, is a professional association football league in Hungary and the highest level of the Hungarian football league system. The Hungarian Cup (, ), officially known as MOL Magyar Kupa for sponsorship reasons, is the Hungarian cup competition for football clubs. It was started by the Hungarian Football Association'','' in 1909, eight years after the commencement of the Hungarian League. Besides all of the professional clubs of Hungary numerous amateur sides take part every year. These have to qualify through local cup competitions. The most successful participant in the Magyar Kupa has been Ferencváros with 24 wins, followed by local rivals MTK with 12 cups. The current holder is Paks, having won their 1st title in 2024.
