Nusaý Stadium
Nusaý Stadium (; formerly Nisa-Chandybil Stadium) is a stadium in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as the home for FC Aşgabat and training of the Turkmenistan national football team. It has a capacity of 3,000. Notable events The stadium was used by the Turkmenistan national football team for 1998 FIFA World Cup qualification rounds for the Asian zone matches against China, Vietnam and Tajikistan in May 1997. The match against China and Tajikistan was attended by 3,000 people, and against Vietnam by 2,500 people. The stadium hosted the 2007 AFC Cup group stage match of Nebitçi FT and Al Faisaly SC. It hosted 2022 Turkmenistan Cup Final between FC Ahal and Şagadam FK. and 2022 Turkmenistan Super Cup between FC Altyn Asyr and Şagadam FK. Ashgabat (Turkmen language, Turkmen: ''Aşgabat'') is the capital city, capital and largest city of Turkmenistan. It lies between the Karakum Desert and the Kopet Dag, Kopetdag mountain range in Central Asia, approximately 50 km (30 mi) away from the Iran-Turkmenistan border. The city has a population of 1,030,063 (2022 census). The city was founded in 1881 on the basis of an Ahal Teke (Turkmen tribe), Teke tribal village, and made the capital of the Turkmen Soviet Socialist Republic in 1924 when it was known as Poltoratsk. Nebitçi Football Team () is a Turkmen professional football club based in Balkanabat. They compete in top division of Turkmen football, the Ýokary Liga. Arkadag Stadium () is a multi-purpose stadium in Arkadag, Turkmenistan. It primarily serves as the home stadium of FK Arkadag. The stadium has a capacity of 10,000 spectators. Football is the most popular sport in Turkmenistan, a country that gained independence in 1991. The national association regularly takes part in competitions organised by FIFA and the AFC at senior and youth level. Valeri Nepomniachi is probably the most famous name in Turkmen football. Football Club Altyn Asyr (), also known as Altyn Asyr Ashgabat or simply Altyn Asyr, which translates to ''Golden Century'', is a Turkmenistan, Turkmen professional association football, football club based in Ashgabat. Founded in 2008, the club competes in the Turkmenistan Higher League, Ýokary Liga, the top tier of Football in Turkmenistan, Turkmen football. Football Club Şagadam () is a Turkmen professional football club based in Türkmenbaşy, Balkan Region. The team compete in Ýokary Liga, the top division in Turkmenistan football league system. The club was founded in 1949 and home matches are played at Şagadam Stadium, their original home ground. Ahal Änew Football Club (), or simply Ahal FK, is a Turkmen professional football club based in the Änew, Ahal Province. Founded in 1989, the club played its first-ever top flight season in 1992. The club plays its home matches at the 20,000 seater Ashgabat Stadium. Ahal won the 2022 Ýokary Liga, becoming one of eight clubs to have won the Ýokary Liga since its inception in 1992. Al-Faisaly Sports Club () is a Jordanian professional football club based in Amman. Founded in 1932, the club competes in the Jordanian Pro League, the top flight of Jordanian football.
