Nuacht RTÉ le TG4 (Irish for ''RTÉ News by TG4'') is the main news service for Irish speakers on RTÉ television. The service is broadcast from the news studios at Baile na hAbhann in the Connemara Gaeltacht, County Galway, Ireland. Nuacht RTÉ le TG4 broadcasts daily at 5:00pm on the RTÉ News channel and at 5:40pm on RTÉ One with a repeat available on rte.ie and the RTÉ Player. '' The Angelus'' follows for 1 minute after Nuacht RTÉ at 6:00pm. '' Nuacht TG4'' airs on TG4 weeknights at 7:00pm and weekends at 7:15pm. Siún Nic Gearailt
Siún Nic Gearailt (; born 14 September 1971) is a newsreader with RTÉ and Teilifís na Gaeilge (corporation), Teilifís na Gaeilge (TG4) in Republic of Ireland, Ireland. She currently presents ''Nuacht RTÉ'' and ''Nuacht TG4'' and has presented many of RTÉ's English news programmes, including the ''RTÉ News: Six One, Six One News'', ''RTÉ News: Nine O'Clock, Nine O'Clock News'' and the ''RTÉ News on Two, News on Two''. She has also read the news and English bulletins on RTÉ Radio. Early life and education A native Irish speaker, Nic Gearailt was raised in the Feothanach Gaeltacht region of western County Kerry. RTÉ Lyric FM (stylised as RTÉ lyric fm) is an Irish classical music, jazz and arts radio station, owned and operated by RTÉ. RTÉ 2fm, or 2FM as it is more commonly referred to, is an Irish radio station operated by RTÉ. The station specialises in current popular music and chart hits and is the second national radio station in Ireland. The Angelus (television Programme)
''The Angelus'' is an Irish radio and television religious programme, first broadcast in 1950, of the sound of an Angelus bell ringing for one minute. On radio it is broadcast at 12midday and 6pm every day. On television, it is only broadcast at 6pm, immediately before the main evening news. Since 2009, the programme on television no longer includes Catholic imagery and the Angelus prayer itself is never broadcast. RTÉ Player is an on demand video service provided by Irish public media broadcaster RTÉ.
