Noémi Trufán (born 11 January 1985 in Târgu Mureș) is a Romanian-born Hungarian handballer who most recently played for Ferencvárosi TC on professional level. After that she left FTC, first she played in Germany, then in Luxemburg. Târgu Mureș
Târgu Mureș (, ; hu, Marosvásárhely ) is the seat of Mureș County in the historical region of Transylvania, Romania. It is the 16th largest Romanian city, with 134,290 inhabitants as of the 2011 census. It lies on the Mureș River, the second longest river in Romania (after the Danube). Names and etymology The current Romanian name of the city, ''Târgu Mureș'', is the equivalent of the Hungarian ''Marosvásárhely'', both meaning "market on the Mureș (Maros) iver. ''Târg'' means "market" in Romanian and ''vásárhely'' means "marketplace" in Hungarian. Local Hungarians often shorten ''Marosvásárhely'' to ''Vásárhely'' in speech. Váci NKSE
Váci NKSE are a Hungarian women's handball club from Vác, that play in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. Founded in 1949, the team have won promotion to the top-level championship first in 1998. Since then, they have been improved year by year and achieved their best result in 2010 by finishing third. However, in 2011, the club's main sponsor stepped down, following which Vác had to cut their budget and lost many of their key players. Csömör KSK (Women's Handball)
Csömör () is a village in the Gödöllő District in Pest county, Hungary. It lies in the Budapest metropolitan area, north of the 16th district of Budapest and west of Kistarcsa, on the western part of the Gödöllő hills, in the turning of the Csömör stream. It has a population of 9,971 (2020). History Ceramic pieces were found from the New Stone Age (3200–3000 BC) in the area of the ''Urasági-tag,'' the ''Bab-földek'' (bean fields) and the ''Rét-pótlék.'' Ceramic pieces were found from the Bronze Age (1900–1800 BC) on the area of the ''Urasági-tag'' and the ''Szeder-völgyi-dűlő''. On the 64 Erzsébet Street were found troves from the Vatyai Culture (1700–1400 BC). A Celtic cemetery was dug out behind the strand, which is from the Iron Age (380–300 BC). Újbuda (lit. ''New Buda'') is the 11th district of Budapest ( hu, Budapest XI. kerület), Hungary. It is the most populous district of Budapest with 137,426 inhabitants (2008). Ferencvárosi TC (Women's Handball)
Ferencvárosi Torna Club is a Hungarian women's handball team from Budapest, that is part of the multi-sports club Ferencvárosi TC. Nicknamed ''Fradi'', the team plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság I, the top level championship in Hungary. They are one of the most successful clubs in the country, having won eleven Hungarian championships and as many Hungarian cup titles. FTC also enjoy a good reputation in continental competitions: they lifted the EHF Cup Winners' Cup trophy in 1978, 2011, and 2012, and they were also crowned as the EHF Cup winners in 2006. The team also reached the finals of the EHF Champions League two times, however, they fell short in both occasions. The current name of the club is FTC-Rail Cargo Hungaria due to sponsorship reasons. Team Handball
Handball (also known as team handball, European handball or Olympic handball) is a team sport in which two teams of seven players each (six outcourt players and a goalkeeper) pass a ball using their hands with the aim of throwing it into the goal of the other team. A standard match consists of two periods of 30 minutes, and the team that scores more goals wins. Modern handball is played on a court of , with a goal in the middle of each end. The goals are surrounded by a zone where only the defending goalkeeper is allowed; goals must be scored by throwing the ball from outside the zone or while "diving" into it. Nemzeti Bajnokság I (Women's Handball)
The Nemzeti Bajnokság (, "National Championship"), also known as NB I, is the top level of the Hungarian football league system. The league is officially named OTP Bank Liga after its title sponsor OTP Bank. UEFA currently ranks the league 28th in Europe. Twelve teams compete in the league, playing each other three times, once at home, once away, and the third match is played at the stadium that the last match was not played at. At the end of the season, the top team enters the qualification for the UEFA Champions League, while the runner-up and the third place, together with the winner of the Magyar Kupa enter the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification rounds.
