Novyi Korotych (; ), known as Komunar (''Комунар'') until 2016, is a Populated places in Ukraine#Rural settlements, rural settlement (selyshche) in Kharkiv Raion (Raions of Ukraine, district) in Kharkiv Oblast of Ukraine, at about west by south (Points of the compass#32-wind_compass_rose, WbS) of the centre of Kharkiv City. Populated Places In Ukraine
In Ukraine, the term "populated place" () refers to a structured component of the human settlement system, representing a stationary community within a territorially cohesive and compact area characterized by a significant concentration of population. Its defining attribute is the continuous presence of human inhabitants. Populated places in Ukraine are classified into two primary categories: urban and rural. Urban populated places are cities, whereas rural areas include villages and ''selyshches''. All populated places are governed by their hromada (municipality), be it a village, city or any other type of settlement. Hromada
In Ukraine, a hromada () is the main type of municipality and the third level Administrative divisions of Ukraine, local self-government in Ukraine. The current hromadas were established by the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine, Government of Ukraine on 12 June 2020. A municipality is designated ''urban hromada'' if its administration is located in a city; ''settlement hromada'' if it is located in a settlement (''selyshche''), and ''rural hromada'' if it is located in a village (Village#Ukraine, ''selo'') or a ''selyshche''. Nova Poshta (), called Nova Post outside Ukraine, is a private Ukrainian postal and courier company that provides logistics and related services for individuals and businesses. Korotych
Korotych (, ) is a rural settlement in Kharkiv Raion of Kharkiv Oblast in Ukraine. It is essentially a western suburb of the city of Kharkiv, part of Kharkiv agglomeration. Korotych belongs to Pisochyn settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine. Population: Korotych is located west to the rural settlement of Novyi Korotych.
