North Macedonia–Ukraine relations are the bilateral relations of the Republic of North Macedonia and Ukraine. There is an embassy of North Macedonia in Kyiv, while Ukraine maintains an embassy in Skopje. Ukraine also has a consulate in Bitola. Over the years, there have been several efforts to strengthen relations between the two countries. Both countries are full members of the BSCE and COE. Bilateralism is the conduct of political, economic, or cultural relations between two sovereign states. It is in contrast to unilateralism or multilateralism, which is activity by a single state or jointly by multiple states, respectively. When states recognize one another as sovereign states and agree to diplomatic relations, they create a bilateral relationship. On 28 February 2022, four days after it was invaded by Russia, Ukraine applied for membership of the European Union (EU).
