Norbert Bolz
Norbert Bolz (born 17 April 1953) is a German media theorist. He served as a professor at Technische Universität Berlin until his retirement in 2018. Bolz developed a media theory, the ''""'', that is influenced by Friedrich Nietzsche, Walter Benjamin and Marshall McLuhan. Western philosophy refers to the Philosophy, philosophical thought, traditions and works of the Western world. ''Marx Reloaded'' is a 2011 German documentary film written and directed by the British writer and theorist Jason Barker. Phoenix (stylised as , ) is a German free-to-air television channel which is operated jointly by public-service broadcasters ARD and ZDF. It broadcasts documentaries, news, special events coverage and discussion programmes. Phoenix's headquarters are in Bonn, the former West German capital. History Creation The creation of Phoenix is credited to the former chancellor Helmut Kohl, who wanted to create a "European Parliamentary Channel". Unter den Linden (, "under the linden trees") is a boulevard in the central Mitte district of Berlin, Germany. Running from the Berlin Palace to the Brandenburg Gate, it is named after the linden trees (known as lime in the UK and Ireland and basswood in North America, not related to citrus lime) that line the grassed pedestrian mall on the median and the two broad carriageways.
