Nora Jenčušová
Nora Jenčušová (born 14 April 2002) is a Slovak road and track cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Continental Team . Biography Nora Jenčušová was born on 14 April 2002 in Spišská Nová Ves. As a child, she competed in triathlon, which brought her to bicycle racing. She is a student of the Technical University of Košice. Career Jenčušová was first noticed in the cycling world in 2020, when she became the European junior champion in the scratch. Since 2021 she is a member of the Italian professional team Bepink. She won the road race at the Czech and Slovak National Championships in 2022 and 2023 after finishing third in 2021. Additionally, she won the Slovak National Time Trial Championships each year from 2021 to 2024. In December 2023, she was selected for the 2024 Summer Olympics. Spišská Nová Ves
Spišská Nová Ves (; ; ) is a town in the Košice Region of Slovakia. The town is located southeast of the High Tatras in the Spiš region, and lies on both banks of the Hornád River. It is the biggest town of the Spišská Nová Ves District. Tourist attractions nearby include the medieval town of Levoča, Spiš Castle and the Slovak Paradise National Park. The 2020 European Road Cycling Championships was the 26th running of the European Road Cycling Championships that took place from 24 to 28 August 2020 in Plouay, France. The event consisted of a total of 6 road races and 7 time trials. Location On 10 June 2019, it was announced that Trentino, Italy would host this event from 9 to 13 September 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Italy, the UEC and Trentino officials decided to postpone the city's hosting of the event to 2021.
