Nils Törnqvist
Amason is a Swedish musical band made up of vocalist Amanda Bergman (also known as Hajen, Jaw Lesson, and Idiot Wind); guitarist, keyboardist, and vocalist Gustav Ejstes (from Dungen); keyboardist Pontus Winnberg (from Miike Snow and Bloodshy & Avant); drummer Nils Törnqvist (from Little Majorette); and bassist Petter Winnberg (from Little Majorette). Amason was formed in December 2012 and released their self-titled EP in August 2013, via Stockholm-based label Ingrid. In January 2015, the band issued their debut album, ''Sky City'', with lyrics in both English and Swedish. In October of the same year, they released their second EP, ''Flygplatsen'', with songs in Swedish exclusively. In 2016, they published the EP ''California Airport Love'', which includes the English version of "Flygplatsen" as well as a cover of Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love Is" and the Mamas & the Papas' "California Dreamin'". Amanda Bergman
Karin Amanda Bergman Hollingby (born 1987) is a Swedish singer-songwriter from Dalarna and member of Amason (band), Amason. She has previously performed and released music under the stage names Idiot Wind, Jaw Lesson, and Hajen. Career Bergman was born in 1987 and grew up in Gagnef. She began her professional career under the stage name Hajen (The shark) and used the names Jaw Lesson and Idiot Wind (from Bob Dylan's Idiot Wind, song of the same name) from 2010 to 2014. Bergman is a member and lead-vocalist of the Swedish band Amason (band), Amason with Gustav Ejstes, Pontus Winnberg, Nils Törnqvist and Petter Winnberg. "California Dreamin" is a song written by John and Michelle Phillips in 1963 and first recorded by Barry McGuire. It was formerly known as Topplistan (1975–1997) and Hitlistan (1998–2007) and has been known by its current name since October 2007. The Grammis (sometimes referred to as the Swedish Grammy Awards) are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The Mamas & the Papas were an American folk rock vocal group that recorded and performed from 1965 to 1968, with a brief reunion in 1971. The group was a defining force in the music scene of the counterculture of the 1960s. Gustav Ejstes
Gustav Ejstes (born 23 December 1979) is a Swedish musician. He is the singer and frontman of the Swedish psychedelic rock band Dungen. Ejstes himselfs plays many of the instruments within his recordings, alongside bandmates Reine Fiske (guitar), Mattias "Tiaz" Gustavsson (bass) and Johan Holmegard (drums). Subliminal Sounds is the record label to which Ejstes returned after a short period with Virgin Records and the record "Stadsvandringar". He has released seven albums with Dungen, notably their album '' Ta Det Lugnt'' (2004), which has been highly acclaimed all over the world.
