Nikola Nikić (politician)
Nikola Nikić ( sr-Cyrl, Никола Никић, ; born 7 January 1956) is a Bosnian football manager and former player who is the manager of First League of FBiH club Bratstvo Gračanica. Playing career Nikić, born to father Ilija and mother Radojka (née Tadić), started his career in the lower leagues with Modriča and Zvijezda Gradačac, before joining Željezničar. Although he was an excellent winger, he became famous for his funny character and truthful nature. Nikić's was part of the famous Željezničar squad which under the guidance of Ivica Osim reached the UEFA Cup semi-finals in the 1984–85 season. However, he didn't play the semi-final match against Videoton because in December 1984 he moved to Greece where he stayed for four seasons. Modriča
Modriča ( sr-cyrl, Модрича) is a town and municipality in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013 census, the town has a population of 10,137 inhabitants, while the municipality has a population of 25,720 inhabitants. History The first written document about Modriča is a 13th century charter of Hungarian King Béla IV of Hungary, Bela IV in which Modriča is mentioned as a spring: "...fons Modricha, ubi cadit in Boznam ("...the spring of Modricha, where it falls into the Boznam")"; this indicates that it was a minor stream which was flowing into the Bosna (river), Bosna river. Nogometni klub TOŠK Tešanj, commonly known as TOŠK Tešanj or just TOŠK is a professional association football club based in the city of Tešanj that is situated in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 1986–87 Alpha Ethniki
The 1986–87 Alpha Ethniki was the 51st season of the highest football league of Greece. The season began on 7 September 1986 and ended on 7 June 1987. Olympiacos won their 25th Greek title and their first one in four years. The championship was marked by the strike declared by 12 teams in the last three games of the championship. As a result, most of the teams did not come to the last matches of the championship and were punished by deducting 6 points. Fehérvár FC
Fehérvár Football Club (commonly known as ''Fehérvár'', ''Vidi'', or ''MOL Fehérvár Football Club'' for sponsorship reasons), is a Hungarian professional football club based in Székesfehérvár, which plays in the Nemzeti Bajnokság II from 2025–26, the second level of the Hungarian league system after relegation from Nemzeti Bajnokság I in 2024–25. Due to sponsorship reasons, the club changed its name from Videoton FC to MOL Vidi FC in 2018, the main sponsor of the club being oil and gas multinational company MOL. 1984–85 UEFA Cup
The 1984–85 UEFA Cup was the 14th season of the UEFA Cup, the third-tier club football competition organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). The final was played over two legs at the Sóstói Stadion, Székesfehérvár, Hungary, and at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Madrid, Spain. The competition was won by Real Madrid of Spain, who defeated Videoton of Hungary by an aggregate result of 3–1 to claim their first UEFA Cup title. Real Madrid became the first Spanish side to win the UEFA Cup since its foundation in 1971. Ivan Osim (6 May 1941 – 1 May 2022), best known as Ivica Osim, was a Bosnian professional Football player, footballer and Manager (association football), football manager. Widely regarded as one of the greatest Bosnian football managers of all time, he is also seen as one of the most influential football managers in the former Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia.
