The Nigeria women's national cricket team represents the country of Nigeria in international women's cricket. The team is organised by the Nigeria Cricket Federation, which has been a member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) since 2002. The Uganda women's national cricket team represents Uganda in international women's cricket. They played their first matches as part of a triangular series that also involved Kenya and Kenya's A side in January 2006. The Malawi women's national cricket team represents the country of Malawi in women's cricket matches. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. The 2021 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier was a cricket tournament that was played in Botswana in September 2021. 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup
The 2023 Women's T20 World Cup was the eighth edition of Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It was held in South Africa between 10 February and 26 February 2023. The final took place at Cape Town. Australia won their sixth and third consecutive title after beating the hosts South Africa in the final by 19 runs. Twenty20 International (T20I) is a form of Twenty20 cricket, in which each team plays a single innings with a maximum of twenty overs.
