Nicolás Uriarte
Nicolás Uriarte (born 21 March 1990) is an Argentine professional volleyball player. He was a member of the Argentina men's national volleyball team, Argentina national team and a participant at the Olympic Games 2012 Summer Olympics, London 2012. At the professional club level, he plays for Associação Social e Esportiva Sada, Sada Cruzeiro. Personal life Uriarte was born in Buenos Aires. His father, Jon Uriarte, is a former volleyball player, bronze medallist at the Olympic Games (1988 Summer Olympics, Seoul 1988), and a previous head coach of the Australia men's national volleyball team. Career Club In 2013, he signed a contract with Skra Bełchatów, PGE Skra Bełchatów and won the Polish Champion title in 2014. On 8 October 2014, his team won the Polish SuperCup. The South American Men's Volleyball Club Championship is an international men's club volleyball competition organized by the ''Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol'' (CSV), the sport's governing body in South America. The competition was first contested in 2009 in Florianópolis, Brazil and tournaments have been held every year since then. The Australia men's national volleyball team, also known as Volleyball Team Australia Men (VTAM) or the Volleyroos, is the national volleyball team of the volleyball-playing nation of Australia.
