Nicolás Richotti
Nicolás "Nico" Richotti (born 17 October 1986) is an Argentine former professional basketball player. At a height of , he played at both the point guard and shooting guard positions, with shooting guard being his main position. His most successful stint came with CB 1939 Canarias where he won the FIBA Intercontinental Cup and the Basketball Champions League, FIBA Champions League in 2017 as well as the Copa Príncipe de Asturias and LEB Oro in 2012. In 2021, he won the Icelandic Men's Basketball Cup, Icelandic Cup with Njarðvík men's basketball, Njarðvík. Professional career Richotti started his career in 2004 at Hindú Resistencia of the Torneo Nacional de Ascenso, Argentine Second League. In 2005, he moved to Italy, on a one-year contract with Bari, in the Italian minor divisions. Stjarnan Men's Basketball
The Stjarnan men's basketball team, commonly known as Stjarnan, is the men's basketball department of Ungmennafélagið Stjarnan, based in the town of Garðabær, Iceland. It is a subdivision of Ungmennafélagið Stjarnan. History Stjarnan's men's basketball team was founded in 1993. It reached the Icelandic top-tier Úrvalsdeild karla in 2001. After losing all its games during the 2001–02 season, the team almost folded. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the Basketball positions, five positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position and is usually the shortest player on the court. Point guards are expected to control the pace of the game. They effectively "run" the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time.
