Nicoline Sørensen
Nicoline Haugård Caspersen (born 15 August 1997) is a former Danish professional footballer who played as a forward, most recently for English Women's Super League club Everton and the Denmark women's national team. Having made her debut for the senior national team at the age of 19, she was awarded the Danish Football Association's prize for Talent of the Year 2016. Club career In August 2013, Sørensen joined Swedish club FC Rosengård. She was awarded a professional contract ahead of the 2014 season and went on to make ten Damallsvenskan appearances in the club's title-winning campaign. In February 2015, Sørensen returned to Denmark to play for Brøndby IF for more playing time and to catch up with her studies. In July 2017, it was announced that Sørensen would be making her return to Damallsvenskan to play for the reigning champions, Linköpings FC. Brøndby IF (women)
Brøndby IF is a women's football club from Brøndby, Denmark. It is the women's team of Brøndby IF. The team is one of Denmark's best women's teams, having won six championships and 5 cups in the 2000s. The team also reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Cup 2003–04, UEFA Women's Cup 2006-07 and 2014–15 UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women's Cup 2014-15, but they have struggled to reach European football in the later years, as the competition nationally and internationally has improved. They are currently coached by Bengt Sæternes, who replaced Per Nielsen after many years at the club. Group B of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 qualifying competition consists of six teams: Italy, Denmark, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Malta, and Georgia. Viborg Stadion, currently known as Energi Viborg Arena for sponsorship reasons, is the home of Danish Superliga club Viborg FF with a capacity of 10,000. Originally built in 1931, it previously hosted the Danish national women's football team between 2015 until 2024.
