Nicolas Lemaître
Nicolas Lemaître (born 12 January 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Troyes. Career Lemaître made his debut at the professional level for Reims in a 1–0 Ligue 2 loss to Sochaux on 11 February 2017. Lemaître signed his first professional contract with Reims in June 2017. Lemaître helped Reims win the 2017–18 Ligue 2, helping promote them to the Ligue 1 for the 2018–19 season. In June 2020, Lemaître joined Quevilly-Rouen on a season-long loan. On 1 July 2021, the move was made permanent, and he signed a contract until 2023. Reims ( ; ; also spelled Rheims in English) is the most populous city in the French Departments of France, department of Marne (department), Marne, and the List of communes in France with over 20,000 inhabitants, 12th most populous city in France. The 2023–24 Ligue 2, commonly known as Ligue 2 BKT for sponsorship reasons, was the 85th season of Ligue 2. It began on 5 August 2023 and concluded on 1 June 2024. Teams Changes Concarneau (promoted for the first time in history from this season) and Dunkerque (promoted return after two years absence). The 2022–23 Ligue 2, commonly known as 2022–23 Ligue 2 BKT for sponsorship reasons, was the 84th season of Ligue 2. It began on 30 July 2022 and ended on 5 June 2023. The league had a break from 12 November to 27 December due to the FIFA World Cup. Two clubs were to be promoted to Ligue 1 at the end of the season as the number of clubs in Ligue 1 was set to be reduced from 20 to 18 for the 2023–24 season.
