Nicolai Budkov Kjær
Nicolai Budkov Kjær (born 1 September 2006) is a Norwegian professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 287, achieved on 31 March 2025. He is currently the No. 3 singles player from Norway. Budkov Kjær reached a ITF junior combined ranking of world No. 1 on 15 July 2024. He represents Norway at the Davis Cup where he has a W/L record of 2–4. Early life Nicolai Budkov Kjær was born to a Norwegian father and an Estonian mother. He lives in Bygdøy, Oslo, and trains at Oslo Tennisarena and Wang Toppidrett. Junior career He won the 2024 Wimbledon Championships boys' singles title, becoming the first Norwegian man to win a Grand Slam singles title at either the junior or professional level. Christian Ruud
Christian Ruud (born 24 August 1972) is a Norwegian former tennis player who turned professional in 1991. He achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 39 in October 1995, reaching the fourth round of the 1997 Australian Open and the quarterfinals of the 1997 Monte Carlo Masters. He retired in 2001 after the 2001 French Open. He was the highest-ranked Norwegian male player ever on the ATP Tour until his son Casper Ruud surpassed him in February 2020. Viktor Durasovic (; born 19 March 1997) is a Norwegian professional tennis player. He has a career-high ATP singles ranking of world No. 236, which he achieved on 16 June 2025. The PIF ATP Rankings (previously known as the Pepperstone ATP Rankings) are the merit-based method used by the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) for determining the qualification for entry as well as the seeding of players in all singles and doubles tournaments. The first rankings for singles were published on 23 August 1973 while the doubles players were ranked for the first time on 1 March 1976. Ranking points are awarded according to the stage of tournament reached, and the prestige of the tournament, with the four Grand Slam tournaments awarding the most points. Ultimate Tennis Showdown
The Ultimate Tennis Showdown (UTS) is an international individual tennis league that was founded in 2020. The competition was organized by tennis coach Patrick Mouratoglou and businessman Alex Popyrin, father of professional tennis player Alexei Popyrin. Originally created as a response to the disruption of the professional tennis season due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the UTS has since taken place every year except in 2022. The first three events were held in 2020; the first two were organized at the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy in Biot near Nice and the third was held in Antwerp. In 2021, UTS returned to the Mouratoglou Academy for its fourth edition.
