Nicolae Ștefănuță
Nicolae-Bogdănel Ștefănuță or Nicu Ștefănuță (born 3 January 1982) is a progressive Romanian politician who has been serving as a Member of the European Parliament since 2019. Political career In 2007, Ștefănuță was a member of the Democratic Party (PD) and assistant to Monica Iacob Ridzi. He was appointed to head the new department of European politics and affairs of the Sibiu branch of PD. As a member of USR PLUS, Ștefănuță was elected as MEP in 2019. In parliament, he serves on the Committee on Budgets and on the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety. In 2020, he also joined the Special Committee on Beating Cancer. Ștefănuță has been serving as the parliament’s lead rapporteur on the budget of the European Union for 2023. Health Education Nature Sustainability Party
The Health, Education, Nature, Sustainability Party (Romanian: ), commonly known by the abbreviation SENS (meaning "Sense", "Meaning", or "Direction" in Romanian), is an extra-parliamentary political party in Romania closely associated with progressive independent MEP Nicolae Ștefănuță. Amongst its most well known members are Florina Presadă and Ana Ciceală. As of the 2024 election, it is the biggest party not represented in parliament. The European Parliament Intergroup on LGBTI Rights is an intergroup of the European Parliament's legislators which focuses on the rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) persons both inside and outside the European Union. The European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) is a European non-profit association registered and headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. Its membership consists of 42 non-profit organisations active in public health in 13 European countries including 10 EU Member States.
