Nick Perri
Nicholas Perri (born May 15, 1984) is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and producer. He is frontman for Philadelphia rock group Nick Perri & The Underground Thieves, as well as founding member of previous groups Silvertide, Mount Holly, and SINAI. Perri has also played for Perry Farrell, Matt Sorum, younger sister Christina Perri, Jimmy Gnecco, Shinedown, Dorothy, and others. Perri is a platinum-selling songwriter, and in 2016, produced a Transformers compilation album for Hasbro and Sony. In addition, Perri has placed music in movies, TV shows, and commercials including advertisements for the NHL, the WB Network, Theraflu, Squarespace, and others. He also appeared and performed in the M. Night Shyamalan film ''Lady in the Water'', and provided two songs to the film's soundtrack. Bensalem Township is a township in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. Sweetwater is an American musical instrument retailer. Based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sweetwater is the largest online retailer of musical instruments and pro audio equipment in the United States. History Chuck Surack established the company in 1979 in Fort Wayne, Indiana so that he could stop being a touring musician. The company originally offered recording services via a remote recording studio in Surack's Volkswagen microbus and a recording studio based out of his home. In 1985, to increase the services the recording studio could offer, Surack bought a Kurzweil K250, and became known for his custom K250 sound library and programming skills as well as his upgrade kits. Gibson, Inc. (formerly Gibson Guitar Corporation and Gibson Brands Inc.) is an American manufacturer of Guitar manufacturing, guitars, other musical instruments, and professional audio equipment from Kalamazoo, Michigan, and now based in Nashville, Tennessee. Silvertide is an American rock band from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. History Originally named Vertigo, Silvertide was formed in January 2001 in Northeast Philadelphia. At first, the band was signed by J Records, and they released their first EP ''American Excess'' in 2002. Their first full album, '' Show and Tell'', was released in 2004 and produced by David Ivory. After completion of their debut album in 2003, Silvertide hit the road and toured straight until 2006, most notably in support of Van Halen, Velvet Revolver, and Mötley Crüe in the summer of 2004, and Alter Bridge in 2005. The Sound Of Madness
''The Sound of Madness'' is the third studio album by American rock band Shinedown, released June 24, 2008, via Atlantic Records. The album's lead single, " Devour", was released to radio on May 5, 2008. It is their first release to feature Eric Bass and Zach Myers, their only release to feature Nick Perri, and their only album as a five-piece. A deluxe version was released on November 23, 2010. The album's lyrics explore diverse subject matter as opposed to their previous albums; "Devour" explores political and anti-war themes, " If You Only Knew" is a love ballad about singer Brent Smith's then-fiancée and son, and "What a Shame" tells the story about the death of Smith's uncle, and how he and his cousin, professional wrestler Olivia Smith, dealt with it. Satellite Party was an alternative rock band formed by Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell following the break-up of Jane's Addiction in 2004. Other members included Carl Restivo (bass) and Farrell's wife, Etty Lau Farrell (backing singer and dancer). The band was initially formed as a collaboration between Farrell and Extreme (band), Extreme member Nuno Bettencourt. Bettencourt departed from the project in July 2007. Velvet Revolver was an American hard rock supergroup consisting of Guns N' Roses members Slash (lead guitar), Duff McKagan (bass, backing vocals) and Matt Sorum (drums, backing vocals), alongside Dave Kushner (rhythm guitar) formerly of punk band Wasted Youth, and Scott Weiland (lead vocalist) formerly of Stone Temple Pilots. The King And I
''The King and I'' is the fifth musical by the team of Rodgers and Hammerstein. It is based on Margaret Landon's novel '' Anna and the King of Siam'' (1944), which is in turn derived from the memoirs of Anna Leonowens, governess to the children of King Mongkut of Siam in the early 1860s. The musical's plot relates the experiences of Anna, a British schoolteacher who is hired as part of the King's drive to modernize his country.
