Nicholas Loftin
Nicholas Gerard Loftin, known professionally as Nick Fury (or simply Fury), is an American hip hop record producer. He is known for producing Houston-based rapper Lil' Flip's 2004 hit single " Game Over (Flip)", which peaked at number 15 in the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and received platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). In January 1996, Loftin relocated to Atlanta, Georgia to produce soul, hip hop and R&B music. He has produced singles and albums for high-profile music industry acts, including Lil' Kim, Wu-Tang Clan, T.I., E-40, Nick Cannon and Trina, and remixed " One Love" and " It Ain't Hard to Tell" for the tenth anniversary edition of Nas' ''Illmatic'' album. Melky Sedeck is a Haitian-American R&B hip hop sibling duo. The name of the group is drawn from the names of singer Blandinna Melky Jean and her multi-instrumentalist brother Farel Sedeck Guerschom Jean. The name of the group (and of the siblings) is an allusion to Melchizedek, a figure from Christian and Jewish tradition. Both artists are younger siblings of Wyclef Jean. "One Love" is a song by American rapper Nas, released October 25, 1994 on Columbia Records. It was issued as the fifth and final radio single in promotion of his debut studio album ''Illmatic'' (1994). The song was produced by Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest, who also contributed vocals for the chorus line. According to Nas, the title of the song originates from Jamaican singer-songwriter and musician Bob Marley's song of the same name. "One Love" is composed as a series of letters written by Nas to his incarcerated friends, describing events that have occurred prior to and after the receivers' imprisonment. "One Love" contains samples of the Heath Brothers' "Smilin' Billy Suite Part II" (1975) and Parliament's "Come In Out of the Rain" (1972), along with an interpolation of Whodini's One Love (1986).
