Nicholas Catlin
Nicholas Andrew Catlin (born 8 April 1989) is an English field hockey player who plays as a midfielder. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics and 2016 Summer Olympics. Biography Catlin is from Marlow, and attended John Hampden Grammar School. Catlin started playing club hockey for Reading, initially as a junior and then senior in 2007. He joined Loughborough Students' the following season in 2008 and made his international debut in 2009 and played in the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. He had two more spells with Reading, sandwiched by a season playing in Belgium. Catlin competed for the Great Britain national team at the 2012 Olympic Games and won a bronze medal with the England team at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, scoring a penalty in the shootout against New Zealand which decided the bronze medal match. Marlow ( ), historically Great Marlow or Chipping Marlow, is a town and civil parish within the Unitary Authority of Buckinghamshire, England. It is located on the River Thames, south-southwest of High Wycombe, west-northwest of Maidenhead and west of central London. 2012–13 Men's FIH Hockey World League
The 2012–13 Men's FIH Hockey World League was the inaugural season of the men's field hockey national team league series. The tournament started in August 2012 in Prague, Czech Republic and finished in January 2014 in New Delhi, India. The semifinals of this competition also served as a qualifier for the 2014 Men's Hockey World Cup as the 6 highest-placed teams apart from the host nation and the five continental champions qualified. The Men's Hoofdklasse Hockey, currently known as the Tulp Hoofdklasse Men for sponsorship reasons, is the men's top division of field hockey in the Netherlands. The league ranks first in the European league ranking table. The league was established in 1973, and before the league existed the champions of the several district played in a championship pool to determine the national champion. John Hampden Grammar School
John Hampden Grammar School (known colloquially as "JHGS") is a selective state boys' grammar school in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. It is named after the local member of parliament and English Civil War commander John Hampden. In June 2011, the school became an Academy.
