Nguyễn Thị Hương (born March 5, 1982) is a Vietnamese former swimmer, who specialized in individual medley events. Jana Korbasová (born March 20, 1974) is a Slovak former swimmer, who specialized in backstroke and in individual medley events. She represented Slovakia at the 2000 Summer Olympics, and later became a sixth-place finalist in the 200 m backstroke (2:12.81) at the European Short Course Championships in Valencia, Spain on that same year. Since her retirement came in 2001, Korbasova currently serves as the acting head coach for Howick Pakuranga Swim Club in New Zealand. She has competed in several New Zealand Ironman in Taupo achieving the fastest swim time for women in the non professional division. She won the 2018 New Zealand Coach of the Year. Medley Swimming
Medley swimming is a combination of four different swimming (sport), swimming strokes (Freestyle swimming, freestyle (usually front crawl), backstroke, breaststroke, Butterfly stroke, butterfly) into one race. This race is either swum by one swimmer as individual medley (IM) or by four swimmers as a medley relay. Individual medley Individual medley consists of a single swimmer swimming equal distances of the four strokes within one race. Stroke order Individual medley consists of four strokes. These four strokes go in an order by Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke and finally Freestyle. The swimmer will swim one quarter of the race in each style, in a certain order. Georgina Bardach
Georgina Bardach Martin (born August 18, 1983 in Córdoba) is a swimmer from Argentina. At the 2002 FINA Short Course World Championships in Moscow, she finished third in the 400 m Individual Medley race. She also won the gold medal at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo. At the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, she won the bronze medal in the Women's 400 m Individual Medley competition. Her time was 4:37.51. Bardach also competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, 2008 Olympics in Beijing and 2012 Olympics in London but did not advance out of the preliminary heats. Georgina won the bronze medal at the 2007 Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro.
