Nguyễn Công Phượng (born 21 January 1995) is a Vietnamese professional association football, footballer who plays as a Forward (association football)#Centre-forward, forward or an Midfielder (association football)#Attacking midfielder, attacking midfielder for V.League 2 club Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc FC, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc and the Vietnam national football team, Vietnam national team. Công Phuợng is lauded as "Vietnamese Lionel Messi, Messi" by fans and the media due to his playing style and physique, Công Phượng is one of the most promising football talents in Vietnam. The ASEAN Championship (formerly known as the AFF Championship or AFF Cup), currently known as the ASEAN Hyundai Cup for sponsorship reasons, is the biennial football tournament organized by the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) for men's national teams in Southeast Asia. The 2015 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games, or the 28th SEA Games, and commonly known as Singapore 2015, were a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held by the city-state of Singapore from 5 to 16 June 2015, It was the fourth time the country hosted the games. The 2014 AFF U19 Youth Championship or AFF U-19 Nutifood Cup 2014 held from 5 to 13 September 2014, hosted by Vietnam. 5 members of the ASEAN Football Federation have registered to take part in the competition, these being hosts Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia and Myanmar.
